It is absolutely fine being a ‘jeans and t-shirt’ guy or a ’shirt and tie’ guy or somewhere in-between. Tuxedo’s are obtainable either single or double breasted. A double-breasted tuxedo has a very broad overlapping front lapel and a double row of buttons, one of which is customarily for embellishment and it’s the outer row which is used to button up both sides of the jacket. By contrast the single breasted jacket only has one row of buttons.
